There are many so-called "Dead Sea" mud products on the market, but the majority are from Yuncheng in China, not the actual Dead Sea. Only 2 companies are licensed to mine the closely guarded Dead Sea, so this mud in its pure, undiluted version is not readily available.

With hydrating and firming properties, Dead Sea Mud soothes itching and inflammation as well as symptoms of skin conditions such as dryness, acne, eczema and psoriasis. Plus, it improves skin elasticity, reduces the appearance of pores, and smoothes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Dead Sea mud has been proven to have an antimicrobial effect on strains of bacteria that live on human skin. Since the overgrowth or presence of certain bacteria can lead to acne, it's possible that this is why Dead Sea mud has been used to treat rashes since biblical times.

The Dead Sea is a saltwater lake located between Israel and Jordan. The geographical features of the Dead Sea, including the fact that the lake is at the lowest sea level of any body of water on earth and surrounded by mountains, make the surrounding silt and mud extremely rich with a unique combination of minerals.

Important Advice: Mud masks must be used within 3 months of receiving them as they are alive and active and because they are not full of synthetic chemicals to preserve them, they will turn bad if not used.

I am using Advanced Repair serum for over a year now, as well as the facial scrub, Dead Sea mask, the facial soaps...and now the performance body oil. It may appear expensive but I am always surprised at how little my skin needs to feel great, and look better than before. That is because of years of buying more bottles, various bottles and using each of those products more often and in higher volumes...with nothing like the results from Swiss Toniq. Now that they have Heidi Pay...it helps even more.

Very moisturizing face mask that wasches off very easily compared to other masks I have used that contained activated charcoal. And of course, like all swiss tonic products, it leaves the skin with a wonderful sensation!
